- All Optician and Contact Lens Practitioner Licences must be renewed annually on or before March 31. Any renewals received after March 31 will be subject to late fees, licenses will lapse as of April 30 and a reinstatement fee will be charged after that time.
- Complete the renewal process 7 business days before the deadline to avoid any technical difficulties or late payment fees or update any credit information missing i from your online application
- Please log in to your profile and click the Renew Licence button. Please ensure you have the following requirements available to complete your renewal:

- Professional liability insurance. The college can ask for a copy of the Professional Liability insurance (PLI).
- Complete your continuing education credit.
- Visa or Master Card or e-transfer at office@scoptic.ca for payment of licence fees.
- You can choose option others in case you are paying by cheque or if payment is to be made by employer.
- The renewal will be processed only after completion of all information, documents and receipt of fees.
- Your receipt will be available in your member's login. Kindly check the invoice 15 business days after the renewal application is submitted and licence fees are paid.
- All your licences will only be sent to your business address through Canada Post.
- Please update your member profile within 14 business days from the date of any change. It is important and your responsibility to ensure your mailing address, email address, telephone number and employer information are all updated.
